Day 1 - Your Best Friend

To be perfectly honest, I had a little problem wanting to start the challenge due the fact that the very first one is going to be about my best friend. Why?

...because I don't have a best friend. Or should I say, no longer? I don't believe in the term best friends/best friends forever anymore. I've utterly lost faith in best friends. I do have many good, close friends whom I love with all of my heart 'though. My many pairs of listening ears and pillars of support/strength. :)

You have no idea how important a best friend was to me until the only person who gave meaning to it shattered my soul.
