"Everything in life changes - nothing remains constant, or should remain constant. Change allows for excitement, thrill and new experiences. However, in contradiction to everything I have just stated, the people you trust should always remain the same. The few people you would give up everything for - the few people you stand up for - the few people you actually love ... the sorta love where they can just look at you and know exactly what is going on inside your heart. Those few people should never leave you and they should never change. The second they do leave you, though, do not waste a second feeling anger, regret or hate...because you gave up a lot for them, because you stood up for them, and because you loved them, makes you a person someone should regret giving up. Best friends should remain constant, and if they leave...let them."
